Red Leaf Resources, Inc. holds 18 mineral leases for approximately 17,000 acres of state owned and managed school trust lands in the Uintah Basin. The Red Leaf leaseholds represent some of the best surface mineable properties for oil shale and contain some of the richest shale in the United States. Average overburden thickness is approximately 60 feet with a resource seam at least equivalent. Oil shale in the Uintah Basin is quantified using an average of 25 gallons-per-ton, with some areas in the oil shale Red Leaf’s leases are long term, easily renewed, and are not at risk of being subject to competitive bidding. |

formation exceeding 70 gallons-per-ton. Estimates indicate approximately 1.5 billion barrels of oil equivalent in-place on the Red Leaf leaseholds.
