The EcoShale™ In-Capsule Technology has been subject to two external, independent reviews of its engineering and design elements. These reviews have affirmed much of the design aspects of the technology, support estimated Utah production cost economics resulting in a 15% internal rate of return with a $38/bbl oil, and are favorable toward the EcoShale™ Technology [1]. The synthetic crude produced at the EcoShale™ test site has also been independently assessed.
